• Entries MUST BE ORIGINAL.
• Artists must label their media and methods accurately.
• Submission photos should be high quality, accurate
representations of the artwork.
• Artwork photos should NOT include frame
• Juror and/or Gallery Chairpersons have final authority to
Define what constitutes an acceptable entry.
Oil, Acrylic, Watercolor, Pastel, Ink, Pencil, Mixed
Media, Collage, Printmaking, Photography, Sculpture,
Pottery, Mosaic, Fiber, etc.
• Framed work must be secure using appropriate materials.
• Mats must be white or off-white.
• All work must have securely fastened hanging wire utilizing "D" rings - no saw tooth hangers or eye rings.
• Hanging wires must have ends covered or taped.
• Stretched canvases must be framed if depth is less than 1”
• Works on paper must be securely matted or floated under glass, Plexiglas, or plastic boxes.
• Art Call Submission label must be attached to the top back of the artwork.
• If an accepted work comes apart due to poor framing it may be removed from the exhibit.
• Art displayed as part of any AAC Exhibit fall under the purview of AAC for the full duration of the exhibit. All purchases of art shall include sales tax and shall be payable in full to AAC.
• AAC shall receive 30% commission from the artist within 30 days of purchase. Commission paid by artists is determined by AAC Board of Directors per organization bylaws.
• Private sales between an AAC exhibiting artist and buyer is strickly prohibited.
• By submitting work to an AAC exhibit you are agreeing to allow images of your work to be used for promotional material. Every effort will be made to credit artists for their work.
